Industrial Hygiene Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting Industrial Hygiene Operatives to join an established business based in Rosyth on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Our client operates a busy production facility, requiring reliable and motivated operatives to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across their site.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
• 13.20 per hour (day shift) and 15.00 per hour (night shift)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x your hourly rate
• Rotating two-week shift pattern:
  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday; 6am to 6:30pm OR 6pm to 6:30am
  • Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday; 6am to 6:30pm OR 6pm to 6:30am

As an Industrial Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:

• Cleaning floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis, including work at height and in confined spaces
• Responding to spillages and environmental concerns promptly
• Completing daily paperwork and liaising with other departments to meet customer requirements
• Maintaining health, safety and quality standards throughout the facility

To be considered as an Industrial Hygiene Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role
• Experience working to strict procedures and compliance requirements
• A forklift licence and confined space experience are both advantageous - full training provided where needed
