  • Ways in which you have demonstrated that you can work effectively as part of a team., We are looking for a highly skilled and committed Information Assistant to provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative support service to the Assessor Service. You will undertake various administrative tasks associated with the functions of the Assessor Service. Working as part of a team providing administrative and information support, you will undertake various duties including data input / retrieval, document processing, producing professional office documents, utilising IT systems to ensure accurate data is captured, dealing with telephone enquiries, photocopying, scanning and a variety of related administrative procedures. The role involves dealing with the public by telephone, responding to internal and external customers and providing information on valuation for Rating and Council Tax purposes., Role Profile - When preparing your supporting statement, review the role profile and think about how you meet the essential criteria

Experience of working with minimum supervision in an environment of change and challenge.,
  • You are required to have a minimum of 4 qualifications at SCQF level 4, which must include English and Maths (e.g National 4, Standard Grades at General Level or O Grades C and above).
  • Team working / organisational skills - Experience in a similar environment involving filing and scanning.
  • Ability to provide a regular and effective service.
  • Initiative taking skills - taking ownership.
  • An understanding of Data Protection / confidentiality.
  • Accuracy skills - possess high level of attention to detail and maintain accurate record.
  • IT skills - Experience of using Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems to maintain records and produce documents.
  • Interpersonal skills - to be able to deliver results.
  • Communication skills / customer service - have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

    The salary will be £25,604.23 - £26,786.83 per annum, temporary for up to 12 months, working full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
