Interim Management Accountant, Hybrid

Rutherford Cross is delighted to be partnering with its key client again to appoint an Interim Management Accountant for an initial 3-month contract.

Overview:

A growing organisation on the outskirts of Glasgow is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support a busy finance function during a period of transition. This is a hands‑on role, with a strong focus on management accounting, alongside meaningful business partnering with operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insight and challenge
• Assist with month‑end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve financial processes
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision‑making during the contract period

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS), although experienced QBE candidates will be considered
• Strong management accounting background with proven business partnering experience
• Confident communicator able to work with non‑finance stakeholders
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and hitting the ground running
• Available immediately or at very short notice

Salary: £380 - £400 per day
