Interim Service Implementation Lead 

Location – Scotland (Hybrid) 

Salary – £46,000 - £50,000  

Duration – 6 months  

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is looking for an experienced transformation leader to drive the implementation of a newly redesigned Community Support Service model, helping ensure that innovative service design is translated into sustainable, impactful delivery across Scotland.  

Following an extensive redesign programme involving staff, volunteers, service users and stakeholders, a new vision for Community Support Services has been developed. We are now seeking an exceptional implementation specialist to lead the next phase of this journey, taking the redesigned service model from concept into practice and ensuring it delivers meaningful benefits for the people we support.  

Reporting directly to the Director of Service Delivery, the Interim Service Implementation Lead will lead the mobilisation, implementation and embedding of the redesigned Community Support Service model. Acting as the bridge between strategic design and operational delivery, you will work with colleagues, volunteers, people with lived experience and external partners to ensure successful adoption of new pathways, workforce models, referral routes and approaches to self-management support. 

You will oversee implementation planning, change management, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement activities, ensuring the programme is delivered on time, benefits are realised and learning is embedded into future service delivery. The role will require strong leadership, collaboration and the ability to navigate change within a complex organisational environment. 

We are seeking an experienced transformation leader with a strong track record of leading service transformation, implementation and change programmes, and a proven ability to translate strategic recommendations into effective operational delivery. The successful candidate will bring excellent programme and project management expertise, with experience delivering complex initiatives within health, social care, community-based services or the third sector. They will be an accomplished relationship builder, with outstanding stakeholder engagement and partnership-working skills, and will have experience of leading teams and supporting people through periods of change.
