Full Job Description
Are you motivated to work in the world of IT? Passionate about solving IT problems? There is a fantastic opportunity to join Equinox as their IT Apprentice!
Come work with a small friendly team, who will support your learning and development in IT. There are further opportunities after completion of the apprenticeship to expand your knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Managing calls and liaising with customers and suppliers
- Recording requests in the internal tracking system
- Handling incidents reported by users and when needed addressing or escalating them
- Following up incident solving and updating documentation
- Informing users through alerts and communication
- Remote installation/configuration of computer and network hardware and software
- Assisting with day to day running of the department
- Setting up broadband equipment and broadband fault diagnosis
- Setting up computer hardware to customers’ requirements
- Daily/weekly checks
Required skills:
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Always seen to be helpful when dealing with clients and within the team, and display professionalism and patience when offering advice and support
- High commitment and flexibility to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Hard-working, team player, and resourceful
- Positive and proactive attitude with good attention to detail
- Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
Salary:
£14,000 per annum
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
