Janitor / Cleaner - Peripatetic

This post is to assist with the provision of high-quality janitorial/cleaning within North Ayrshire Schools for the Facilities Management Team. You will be required to clean areas within the school and ensure the building is secured. This is a peripatetic post based at Whiting Bay Primary School. This post is term time plus 10 non term time days. The core working hours are 08:30am until 3:15pm however candidates must be flexible to meet the needs of our service. Flexibility regarding start & finish times, to suit the needs on the service, would be desirable. Start date is subject to PVG and Occupational Health Checks. A full UK driving licence is required for this post., Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to confirmation of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from your salary following commencement of employment.
