Joiner

We are looking for an ambitious Joiner to join the team which will consist of a Project Director (Lead Joiner), Second in Command and Apprentice. As the Second in Command, you will not only showcase your joinery expertise, but will also take on a leadership role supporting apprentices and overseeing projects along with the Project Director from start to finish., · Working on all aspects, from kit erecting to final finish, and coordinate apprentices to ensure their work is carried out safely and to the highest standard.

· Efficiently manage materials and equipment and optimise resources for maximum productivity.

· Closely monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion within specified timeframes.

· Ensuring the customer is happy. Customer contact is a large part of the job.

· Previous joinery experience in:

o kit erecting and roofing; and

o 1st fix, flooring, insulation and sheeting.

· Finishing, final fix and kitchen fitting.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to interpret and work with Technical Drawings effectively.

· Possession of relevant qualifications., · Own transport will be required, but we do have a fleet of vehicles that can be utilised after the probationary period.

£16 - £18 an hour - Permanent, Full-time, · Mon - Thu: 8am - 4.30pm and Fri - 8am - 1pm. No weekend working required, but over time is offered at various points throughout the year.

· Working areas are usually Newton Mearns and Clarkston.
