Joiner / Supervisor

Pyramid Projects (East) Ltd require a self-employed Joiner/ Supervisor to top up their team as they work on job centres around Scotland. This opportunity can be for potentially up to one year for the right person. This role is specifically undertaking Fire Door maintenance, Installation work, and Firestopping works, and Supervision of a small team of people to deliver the scope of works at each site.

• SSSTS & First Aid essential


• Own tools and own transport essential (you must be able to carry all own tools and appliances required for carrying out works and cleaning post-completion. This will likely be at least a small van)


• Supervisory experience essential


• Good understanding of H&S Regulations


• Must have the right to work in the UK, will require a DBS check


• Ability to self-diagnose repairs


• Ability to read architectural drawings


• Ability to work in confined spaces desirable

• Approachable and a good communicator


• Flexible, can work on own initiative and lead others effectively


• Able to use mobile technology to update status' on jobs (a current smartphone that can connect to the internet will be essential)


• Able to use a digital device to complete and submit paperwork required for the job

  Up to £25 an hour - Freelance, Duration: No minimum duration but can be for potentially up to one year for the right person.


Hours: Covering day shifts (can be up to 7 on different sites), and night shifts (up to 4 nights). Minimum 10-12-hour shifts.
