Full Job Description
This exciting role will involve supporting the kitchen's day-to-day operations in the Head Chef's absence and helping to develop our menus.
You will need a keen eye for detail, an organised approach, and a willingness to exceed our guests' expectations. The role requires you to:
- Support the Head Chef in a hands-on capacity
- Have a sound knowledge of food safety and monitor this daily
- Achieve excellent cleanliness standards
- Mentor junior members of the kitchen team
- Ensure that guest satisfaction is at the heart of all you do
- Hotel set just outside of Peebles, in the Scottish Borders. We have 99 bedrooms as well as our busy leisure club and spa, and championship golf course. We also have a restaurant serving breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner, as well as 3 bars and function space up to 250 people.

This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.
