Full Job Description
Role Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss Team - NQ/Junior Associate (NQ-2 years PQE) Location Edinburgh Responsibilities
- Work on a varied caseload, predominantly representing insurance companies, self-insured commercial organisations and public bodies.
- Carry out investigations, take witness statements and review/interpreting medical records and reports.
- Prepare and manage case files, ensuring compliance with client SLAs, MI requirements and court timetables.
- Report to and liaise with clients to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Draft all legal documents and client advice, and participate in interlocutory proceedings, CCMCs and client meetings.
- Support partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business and maintaining client relationships.
- Assist with marketing and business development activities within the Clyde & Co casualty group. Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in personal injury litigation and large loss claims.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and ability to apply it commercially.
- Experience in conducting investigations, managing case files and preparing legal documents.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and client-relationship skills.
