Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour + TRONC

Hours: 40 - 48 hours per week

Flexible Workforce Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and high-performing hospitality venue in Edinburgh, currently seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef looking to progress their career in a fast-paced, professional kitchen environment.

The Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering consistently high-quality dishes while maintaining excellent kitchen standards. You'll play a key part in day-to-day kitchen operations and help lead the team during service.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the senior kitchen team in all aspects of kitchen management

- Assisting in the preparation and delivery of high-quality food

- Supervising and mentoring junior team members

- Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met

- Contributing to menu development and daily specials

- Maintaining stock control and minimising waste

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie ready to step up, or existing Junior Sous Chef

- Strong organisational and communication skills

- A passion for fresh, quality ingredients and consistent service

- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen

- A positive attitude and strong team ethic
