(KIN) Nursery Chef - Level 3 Qualification Essential

Working with an experienced and supportive Kitchen Assistant, as our Chef, you will have lots of stamina, patience, creativity and imagination with an abundance of great ideas to enhance mealtimes. The key responsibilities of the role include the planning, preparation and serving of age appropriate, nutritious and well-balanced meals and snacks catering for the children's individual dietary requirements and food allergies. You will be responsible for the ordering, control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock and ensuring that you and Kitchen Assistants ensure hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation. A minimum Level 3 qualification in food hygiene is an essential requirement along with excellent knowledge of current legislations in Environmental Health and Food Standards Agency

RAFAKidz Kinloss is our newest setting in our RAFAKidz family and opened in April 2026. Currently undergoing a complete refurbishment, circa 30 colleagues look after up to 100 children who are very excited about exploring our new extensive outdoors play areas! In addition, we also run a holiday club during summer and half term breaks. As a small and friendly team, we can be a little more flexible with the working hours for this role and may be able to offer car share options.
