Kitchen Assistant

We are currently looking to hire an enthusiastic part-time Kitchen Assistant who can help to provide the meals service at our Care Home in Wishaw 16-30 hours per week, working 2 x shift patterns over 7 days. 7.30am-2pm or 1pm - 7.30pm. All of our staff are highly trained, knowledgeable, empathetic and maintain a stringent and uncompromising standard of care which exceeds both company and industry standards., To help prepare meals under the direction of the Chef Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas are hygienically clean To load the dishwasher and/or wash-up by hand when required Helping the Chef ordering of supplies if required Being fully aware of food hygiene regulations Complying with infection control policies and procedures and following appropriate hand hygiene measures To Apply

The ideal candidate will be experienced within a similar role, have a flexible approach to work and be able to work weekends. You will have a desire to deliver the highest possible standard within the role, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
