As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo Ferryfield House site in Edinburgh, you'll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, working behind the scenes to support our chefs and ensure every dish is served to the highest standard. - Keep workstations and kitchen equipment clean and sanitised.
- Wash and store pots, crockery, and utensils properly.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pot wash area and machinery.
- Serve and replenish food from counters and steamtables and break down stations at the end of meal periods
- Help with stock deliveries and rotation.
A positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others - The ability to stay on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills (e.g. food safety, health & hygiene)
- No previous experience needed - just the right mindset and a team-first approach.
