Kitchen Porter

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be the backbone of the operation - keeping equipment clean, supporting chefs and helping everything run smoothly.

Working Tuesday to Friday, you'll be part of a busy, team-focused environment where reliability, pride and attention to detail make a real difference.

The Role

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchens, wash-up areas, floors, equipment and back-of-house spaces.

Lead the delivery process, including receiving goods, checking quality and dates, and reporting discrepancies.

Store deliveries correctly, following FIFO rotation and maintaining clean, organised dry stores and fridges.

Ensure chefs have clean equipment, trays, boards and utensils ready for service.

Support waste and recycling procedures across all kitchen areas.

Assist with basic food preparation when required, with training provided.

Follow all ISS food safety, health & safety and manual-handling procedures.

Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter within hospitality or contract catering is desirable.

Strong work ethic, reliability and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Comfortable receiving deliveries and working in an organised, systematic way.

Good communication and teamwork skills, with a positive and helpful approach.

Able to work at pace in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexible and willing to support the team wherever needed.
