Kitchen Porter

As a Kitchen Porter with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and play a key role in our catering operation. Your responsibilities will include washing up, putting away deliveries and cleaning, while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.

The Role

Wash and clean pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils, ensuring they are ready for use.

Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.

Keep kitchen, food preparation and service areas clean, tidy and organised.

Assist with receiving and handling deliveries as required.

Support waste disposal and ensure waste is handled appropriately.

Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.

Work as part of a motivated and passionate team.

Maintain a high standard of general hygiene and cleanliness throughout the site.

Previous experience is preferred, but a positive, can-do attitude is essential.

A good understanding of the principles of food hygiene.

The ability to follow instructions while also using initiative to make appropriate decisions in the best interests of the customer.
