Kitchen Porters

We're hiring reliable and hardworking kitchen porters to join our team at the King's Garden Party at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. This is your chance to work behind the scenes at a high-profile VIP event, supporting a professional kitchen team in delivering exceptional service.,

• Cleaning all cooking utensils as required by the culinary team
• Ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are cleaned and presented to a high standard before and after use
• Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Communicating effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to support smooth service
• Operating cleaning machinery safely and in line with company training and procedures
• Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations, including hygiene standards, manual handling, and COSHH guidelines
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen housekeeping, including sweeping and mopping floors
• Disposing of waste correctly and keeping all work areas clean and organised
• Supporting chefs and the wider team with basic prep tasks as required
• Assisting with stock movement and any additional duties as needed
  
  Minimum of 6 months experience as a kitchen porter
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
