Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Kitchen Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in food production and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.

What you must have:

  • Cooking Skills: Proficiency in cooking a variety of dishes with attention to taste, presentation, and timing.

  • COSHH Knowledge: Understanding of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and guidelines for handling chemicals and hazardous substances in the kitchen safely.

  • Drive: Self-motivation and initiative to work efficiently and effectively, even during busy periods.

  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capacity to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring smooth operations during peak hours.

  • Team Player: Collaboration with kitchen staff and other team members to achieve common goals, fostering a positive and supportive work atmosphere.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members, management, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues.

  • Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management, scheduling, and workflow planning.
