Full Job Description
- Internal and external movement of goods and materials to meet production requirements
- Cleaning and preparing components for processing as required.
- Grinding, Sawing, and Inspection of components in preparation for cladding or other processes.
- Preparing parts for internal or external shipment as required.
- Internal and external housekeeping duties.
- General duties such as emptying bins, cleaning and painting areas as directed by the Supervisor
- Ensure adherence and compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental standards
- To provide support to other members of the team when required.
- May be required to cover shift patterns as required
- Overhead Crane, Abrasive Wheel, material handling equipment duties - training will be given.
- Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
- Maintain equipment and report equipment that requires servicing or repair.
- Able to work shifts and overtime when required.
Can work efficiently and effectively as both part of a team or independently - Good communication and time management skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure, working accurately and with attention to detail
- Accepts responsibility and willing to take on new challenges
- Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated
- Good understanding and awareness of the engineering/manufacturing processes
- Good knowledge of housekeeping duties
- Knowledge and application of IT systems Education and Experience:
- Certified Forklift License
- Driving License
