Experteer Overview In this senior role, you bridge regulatory and digital domains to translate priorities into actionable digital roadmaps. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across Ofgem to shape a coherent portfolio of digital, data and AI initiatives. Your work ensures technology investments deliver measurable value and align with strategic objectives. You'll help drive Ofgem's transformation, balancing demand with delivery capacity while promoting value-driven delivery. This role offers a chance to influence how digital enables the UK energy transition and consumer protection. Pay / Benefits

  • Lead strategic engagement with senior stakeholders and serve as the main contact for digital, data and AI initiatives. Develop and maintain Directorate Digital Roadmaps aligning with organisational strategies and government priorities. Translate business needs into a pipeline of digital opportunities delivering value and improved user outcomes. Collaborate with Demand Management, Portfolio Planning and Delivery to prioritise, plan and deliver within the digital portfolio. Facilitate discussions to align outcomes, priorities and delivery timelines across stakeholders. Provide insight into digital, data and AI opportunities to demonstrate performance improvements and innovation. Manage stakeholder expectations and support prioritisation and decision-making in presence of capacity constraints. Support portfolio governance, advocating for business needs while ensuring feasibility and alignment with priorities. Promote collaboration and continuous improvement across DDSS and the wider organisation. Tasks Proven experience translating strategic priorities into deliverable digital change initiatives and defining business outcomes. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to act as a trusted link between business areas and digital teams. Deep expertise delivering innovative technology aligned with knowledge of Ofgem's regulatory environment or digital/technology innovations in energy. Understanding of digital products, services and technology capabilities and ability to advise on suitable solutions for current and future needs. Experience shaping enterprise-level requirements, understanding user needs and applying strategic thinking to deliver business value. Key requirements 30 days annual leave Civil Service pension scheme hybrid working (1 day in office) flexible working hours training and development opportunities central, well-equipped offices
