The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Lead NDT Technician for a core 3/3 rotation, mobilising from Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Inspection/NDT activities in keeping with the work scope.
- Brief inspection/NDT personnel about the tasks to be performed, the requirements and methods to be used as well as the procedures to which the work is to conform.
- Comply with permit to work systems and conduct risk and COSHH assessments as required.
- Ensure that the work proceeds within the permit-to-work system.
Qualifications and Experience:
Having demonstrated a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience, personnel should hold the following qualifications as a minimum:
- IRATA Rope Access Certification
- PCN L2 UT, MPI & DPI
- IRAD or ECI
- Visual Inspection
- ASME L1 (desirable)
- API570 (desirable)
Certifications:
- Offshore Survival, Medical and MIST Certification
