Full Job Description

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin., Due to growth of our Transmission business, we have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Manager to join our Learning and Talent team for an interim period of 9 months. In this role, you'll have the chance to shape the pathways fundamental to Transmission's growth plans and play a wider role in supporting Learning and Development activity. While this role will partner with the business taking a consultative approach, you'll also work systematically as you navigate through a range of frameworks and resources to identify the most appropriate learning pathways for the business. Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying and developing learning and career pathways for job families in line with the operating model, supporting and accelerating onboarding.

- Leading business conversations, forming close working relations within the Transmission business and wider HR community.

- Working with the Learning and Talent team to build learning and career pathways into the Learning Management System.

- Discussing and recommending the most effective learning solutions to meet the business priority goals and support the people capability plan needs, taking experience, exposure, and education into account.

- Helping develop a culture of continuous improvement, driving quality standards, and operational excellence on behalf of the Learning and Talent team and business areas.

An extensive track record in senior stakeholder management along with experience of taking a consultative approach with stakeholders, ideally within an HR, learning and development, or people development role.

- Familiarity with the principles of learning pathways, talent development, people growth, or career progression is preferred.

- Ability to apply critical thinking and produce accurate, high quality, work which is tailored to the needs of the audience.

- The confidence to influence at a senior level, bring people together, and ask good probing questions to encourage healthy debate and diversity of input.

- The ability to deliver within challenging timescales and manage expectations.

Salary: £47,600 - £71,600 pro rata + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.
