Based at Falkirk Campus
Fixed Term to June 2027

You will produce high quality learning, teaching and assessment materials, and deliver excellent teaching within the specialist area of Computing (Cyber Security). Working closely with colleagues you will explore and develop new approaches to teaching, making use of current learning technologies. You will naturally possess a strong learner focus.

You will have a degree (or equivalent) in a related subject and ideally hold a teaching qualification, such as TQFE. Experience of engagement with external groups, the development of commercial and/or co-curricular activities, and an engagement with awarding bodies such as Qualifications Scotland would also be extremely desirable.

You will be experienced in Cyber Security delivery across a wide range of levels, which may include SCQF 4 -8 including National and Higher National.

You will possess a sound background in internal quality assurance and a desire to develop new and innovative approaches to the delivery of creative education in a college setting. You will be expected to contribute to new initiatives within the Department such as, for example, the development of new methods of delivery and creation of learning, teaching and assessment materials within a Cyber Security context. There may be a requirement to work across all three college campuses.

In addition, you will have appropriate industry experience and knowledge covering a wide range of disciplines. You will translate this into an exciting, dynamic, collaborative and creative learning experience for students at various levels including entry-level classes. In addition, you will be a strong, professional, positive communicator, who is able, for example, to contribute to positive team building and collaborative work.

Crucially, you will be passionate about Cyber Security and providing outstanding training and learning for the practitioners of tomorrow, as part of a wider Creative, Digital and Leisure Industries department.

We are committed to ensuring an inclusive and accessible recruitment process for all candidates. We understand that individuals may have different needs and we are dedicated to providing reasonable adjustments to support candidates throughout the recruitment process.

If any adjustments are required to be made, please contact . The college will work with each individual to identify and implement appropriate solutions to ensure you have a fair and equitable opportunity to demonstrate your skills and qualifications.
