Lecturer – Electrical Installation

35 hours per week (1 FTE) Permanent

Grade: Unpromoted Lecturer (£43,402 - £52,247)

We are seeking a self-motivated and reliable person who has a passion for Electrical Installation and a desire to pass on their knowledge to the next generation.


This role offers the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with the next generation, alongside excellent employee benefits (see below), including over 12 weeks paid annual leave per year.


You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply for this role, as full training will be provided.

You should be a good communicator and enjoy working with people. You should have good IT skills, including experience using applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject-related software packages. You will deliver Electrical Installation and, if qualified to do so, Electrical Engineering subjects to a diverse range of students at a variety of levels.


As a professional member of the teaching staff at UHI Inverness, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons, teaching students, and the marking and assessment of their work. You will be an effective team member, delivering a high-quality curriculum and an excellent educational experience.
