Legal Counsel

Experteer Overview In this role you support Leyton's growing Legal & Compliance function by drafting, reviewing and negotiating client, consultancy, and supplier contracts while managing post-signature matters. You work with internal stakeholders on AML, data protection and broader regulatory issues, driving process improvements and contract automation. You will contribute to training and governance programs as the function expands. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position with a strong focus on pragmatic legal support and compliance. • Reviewing, preparing and negotiating client, consultancy and supplier agreements to balance Leyton's benefits with risk Assisting Head of Legal & Compliance in post-signature matter management and playbook development Handling data protection matters, GDPR compliance and records management Undertaking risk assessments of Leyton policies and improving internal processes, incl. automation where appropriate Providing first-line legal support to internal clients and stakeholders Delivering business-wide training on legal and regulatory topics Tasks Circa 1-3 years PQE Experience in commercial law, commercial contracts, compliance and/or compliance Key requirements competitive salary and benefits package
