Join our dynamic Litigation & Contentious Regulatory (LCR) team, led by General Counsel. We are a forward-looking and innovative legal team, which prioritises colleague development.
We provide expert advice and support to businesses and functions across the Group in relation to disputes and contentious regulatory matters.

We are presently seeking to bring best practice in legal practice management to our in-house teams., We're looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Practice Manager, directly supervising two LPM Assistants and the LCR Support Pool Manager, to develop and embed a new legal practice management function.
As an important member of LCR's management team, key responsibilities will include :
- Collaborating closely with the General Counsel's office, Heads of Legal, Senior Lawyers, business and operations colleagues to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of an agile, legal function.
- Driving forward all operational and financial aspects of legal practice management including :
- Ideation and implementation of LCR & L&S strategic and transformation initiatives
- Ongoing review and streamlining of operational processes to enhance overall productivity and effectiveness
- Optimising data & management information / reporting
- Implementing and managing an effective centralised resourcing system
- Relationship management across LCR, L&S and with our key stakeholders and external partners, and other tasks to support the general management of the function.
- Promoting a supportive, diverse colleague culture, that empowers colleagues to deliver on all areas including wellbeing, development and continuous improvement.
Previous experience working as a legal practice manager or leading on large-scale transformation projects, ideally in the banking and financial services sector. - A strong track record in leading high performing teams focused on delivery.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting and collaborative relationships at senior level.
- Ability to manipulate and use data and MI to produce effective analysis, reporting and also provide operational insights to the team.
- Expertise in relation to the use of legal technology and automation as well as knowledge of current best practice in the commercial legal sector.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate ideas, risks, and strategies clearly and concisely both orally and in written form.
- Sound grounding in risk management, change management, operations and project management principles.
