Legal Receptionist

Location: Glasgow City Centre (Office Based)

Contract: Temp to Perm

Hours: 34 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (4pm finish on Fridays)

Salary: 23,132 (Salary Review Available Within First Year)

Our client is a well-established and respected legal firm based in Glasgow city centre. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Legal Receptionist to join their busy front-of-house team on a temp-to-perm basis.

Your new role

As Legal Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors whilst supporting the wider office with administrative duties. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a busy switchboard and directing calls
• Monitoring and responding to shared inbox enquiries
• Taking accurate messages and maintaining call logs
• Providing general administrative support to the legal team
• Managing stationery and office supplies
• Delivering a professional and welcoming experience for clients and visitors

This is a fully office-based role working 34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 4pm finish on Fridays.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous administration, reception or customer service experience
• A professional and confident telephone manner
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• The ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively in a busy environment
• Previous legal experience would be advantageous but is not essential
