On 1 April 2026, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) became one national organisation, focused on continuity today and a stronger, more connected service for tomorrow.
As part of this transformation, NSS and NES have joined to form a new organisation: Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland). This new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and ensuring the long-term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland.
About the Organisation:
PSD Scotland unites expertise from NES and NSS in a way that will allow us to accelerate national programmes to support the NHS to deliver better care, now and in the future.
We support staff with education and training, provide the tools and data that improve services, and run vital national functions such as procurement, logistics and blood, tissue and cell services.
The Post:
This post is an exciting opportunity to join the Litigation Department as a legal secretary, and to work in a team that delivers a comprehensive litigation service to NHS Scotland.
The Candidate:
These posts are an exciting opportunity to work in teams that deliver a comprehensive litigation service to the NHS in Scotland. The Department is looking to recruit two new Legal Secretaries to join our busy litigation teams.
As a Legal Secretary you will be a team player and enjoy working in a supportive collegiate environment, but you will also be able to work under your own initiative to provide a quality service to the Team and to the Team’s clients.
Ideally, you will have previous legal secretarial experience, and some knowledge of Sheriff Court and Court of Session rules.
Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh
Currently hybrid working with an expectation of attending the office at least one day a week
Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
