A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its Dispute Resolution / Commercial Litigation team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside leading professionals on a broad range of high-quality, complex matters.
The Opportunity
- Join a well-established dispute resolution team handling commercial litigation, IP, insolvency and asset recovery matters
- Support a group of accomplished fee earners within a collaborative, team-focused environment
- Work on a varied caseload including property disputes, contentious trusts and specialist sectors such as sport, education and entertainment
- Be part of a respected firm known for delivering exceptional client service and technical excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients professionally, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Producing accurate documentation via audio and copy typing (digital dictation)
- Managing busy diaries and coordinating meetings
- Handling billing, document preparation and file management
- Maintaining organised filing systems and supporting wider administrative processes
- Providing proactive support to fee earners and the wider team
About You
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary / PA within a law firm
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, discreet approach
- High attention to detail with strong spelling, grammar and proofreading ability
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience with systems such as iManage, BigHand or SOS Connect is advantageous
- Fast and accurate typing speed (65+ wpm)
