Job Description

You will be working within NRS Parks and Open Spaces.
Applicants should be proficient in operating complex machinery requiring a high level of maintenance and be able to demonstrate a knowledge of horticulture and specialist practical skills such as landscaping and construction.
 
You must be adaptable to ever changing workloads, have the ability to see tasks through to completion in a busy environment and to work with, guide and motivate other team members.  Knowledge of COSHH, Health & Safety and public safety are essential, as are good communication skills as you will be dealing with the public on a daily basis in the park. 
 
A current driving licence is  essential. Horticulture Level 3 (SCQF Level 6) qualification and a PA1/PA6 training and certification and a First Aid certificate are desirable.

This post is fixed term for a period up to 24 months.
