Light Vehicle Apprentice

Job purpose: Northgate vehicle Hire are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Light Vehicle Apprentice to join our growing workshop team. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair

What will I learn?

As a Light Vehicle Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of a busy workshop, learning practical skills in vehicle servicing, repair, diagnostics, and maintenance.

You will work alongside experienced technicians who will guide and support you throughout your apprenticeship, helping you develop the knowledge and confidence needed to become a qualified mechanic

What qualifications or qualities are required?

• A strong interest in cars, mechanics, and the automotive industry

• Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Basic numeracy and IT skills

• Reliable, punctual, and a positive attitude

• No prior experience required – full training will be provided
