Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems in optimal working order.
Duties:
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery
- Adhere to safety protocols and electrical code standards
Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- 18th edition
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Certification or license as an Electrician
- SVQ or NVQ approved electrician
