Full Job Description

This flexible postion will be carried out over 3/4 days out of 7 per week. With Paid attendance for any call outs in an emergency As a Maintenance Manager at Crerar Hotels, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition by carrying out a wide variety of repair and renovation tasks. With experience as a handyman and knowledge of health and safety regulations, you will work independently to complete jobs in joinery, plumbing, electrical work, painting, tiling, and general DIY. Your role will involve conducting regular checks, assisting contractors, and keeping outdoor areas clean and well-maintained. Strong organisational skills are essential, as you will need to prioritise urgent tasks while maintaining detailed records of work and costs. As this is a customer-facing role, a positive attitude and excellent communication skills are key to delivering outstanding service. Ensuring all compliance for Fire safety & Health & Safety in the building is uphelp and monitored. Action any issues and laise with management/suppliers to ensure work is complete in a timely manner Some duties include but are not limited to:

  • - Legionella Management
  • - Health & Safety Management
  • - Fire safety
  • - General Repairs day to day
  • - Light yard work
  • - Contractor Liasing
