Oliver Smith Recruitment are working exclusively with our client in Glasgow to recruit a highly skilled, motivated, and detail-driven Accountant to join our clients expanding team.

The role will be responsible of all aspects of our clients finance function, this includes following the company accounting practices, carrying out regulatory and financial reporting, preparing the monthly management accounts, and ensuring day to day accounting tasks are completely timely and accurately.

Duties:

• Preparing and analysing management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supporting the preparation of annual financial statements and liaising with external auditors.
• Providing financial insights that drive smart business decisions and growth.
• Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Strengthening financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Assisting in high-impact projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and process improvements.
• Mentoring junior finance team members and fostering a culture of continuous development.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance and achieve strategic goals.
