Management Accountant 

3 Month contract - working 3 Days per week

East Ayrshire

Salary: £45,000 FTE (£27,000 pro rata)

We’re recruiting an experienced Management Accountant for an exciting part-time opportunity to support the Finance Director of an established organisation in Ayrshire.

This is a hands-on role offering a varied mix of management accounting, financial reporting, funding management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, month-end and audit processes.
• Monitor grant funding, restricted funds and financial compliance.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting procedures.
• Support commercial property income and rental management.
• Work closely with the Finance Director to enhance finance operations.

About You:

• Qualified or part-qualified or QBE accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong management accounting and Excel skills.
• Confident working independently in a varied finance role.
• Experience of grant funding or the third sector or public sector would be advantageous.
