- Play a Lead Role in End-to-End D365 F&O SCM Implementations: Drive the full lifecycle of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementation projects, from initiation through to successful closure, collaborating closely with Delivery Leads.
- Provide Deep SCM Domain Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in one or more core SCM areas, including Sales and Marketing, Inventory, Procurement and Sourcing, Warehouse Management, Master Planning, Production Management, Product Information Management, Engineering Management, Field Service Management, and Quality Management.
- Strategic Client Engagement & Solution Design: Assess client Supply Chain operations and reporting requirements to recommend optimal D365 F&O solutions. Support clients in defining robust business cases for D365 F&O enabled business transformation, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic business needs and deliver tangible value.
- Lead Workstream Delivery: Lead the successful delivery of key workstreams within large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 transformation programmes, ensuring high-quality deliverables that consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to diverse audiences, fostering win-win possibilities through well-articulated communications.
- Problem Solving & Strategic Decision Making: Identify, analyse, and resolve complex business and technical issues, applying a strategic mindset to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Team Leadership & Capability Development: Lead, motivate, and foster collaboration within high-performing teams. Contribute to the development of internal capabilities within Deloitte UK's MS D365 F&O team through knowledge sharing and demonstrating best practices in client engagement and problem-solving.
- Drive Pre-Sales and Scoping: Play a pivotal role in pre-sales activities, leveraging expertise to scope and plan complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 enabled transformation programmes.
- Business Development Contribution: Actively contribute to the development of compelling proposals and business cases for new ERP projects. The role provides the opportunity to support our global strategic clients address their most significant business challenges, improve operational flow to manage evolving requirement, optimise operations to accommodate growth and alongside building a successful team. You will play a key role supporting operational leadership define their Microsoft D365 F&O solution to shape the future Operations and performance management. You will provide a unique perspective combining industry insight, deep process domain expertise and knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O and Operational Transformation. You will use your knowledge of good practice business process and D365 F&O to design solutions and future products and services, influencing critical business processes. You will use the experience gained though-out your career to support how we build and develop our internal capability, provide technical insight (on MS D365 F&O - Supply Chain), demonstrating how you engage and work with clients to solve their most complex business problems. - Extensive Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Expertise: Proven experience in the full lifecycle implementation, optimisation, and support of Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 F&O, with a deep specialisation in Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
- Domain Expertise in Supply Chain: Demonstrated expertise in one or more core SCM processes, including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Inventory Management, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Warehouse Management, Master Planning, Production Control (Discrete and Process), Engineering Management, Field Service Management, Quality Management, and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Industry-Specific Experience: Relevant experience within key industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Products, or Public Sector.
- Technical Integration Acumen: Strong understanding of integration points between D365 SCM and other modules (e.g., Finance, Project Operations), coupled with practical experience in Power Platform integration (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- ERP Implementation Methodology: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with ERP implementation methodologies and principles, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Strategic Project Delivery: Proven ability to lead or contribute significantly to complex, global ERP programmes, demonstrating expertise in strategic planning, scope management, and proactive risk identification and mitigation.
- Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking: Strong business acumen with the ability to align vision, strategy, and delivery, applying a strategic mindset to complex business issues and developing compelling proposals and business cases.
- Leadership & Team Development: Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Management & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, coupled with proven ability to persuade and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Client-Centric Delivery: A commitment to delivering high-quality work, exceeding client expectations, and effectively managing time under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant Certifications: Possession of pertinent Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, MB-300, MB-330, and MB-320 (or equivalent). Desired:
- Core SCM Module Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with core Supply Chain Management modules, including Warehouse Management, Production Control, Master Planning, and Inventory.
- Consulting Acumen: Demonstrated experience in a consulting or professional services environment, coupled with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and dissect complex client business challenges.
- Strategic Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear, compelling language tailored to diverse audiences. Proven capability to translate business requirements into actionable information models and influence stakeholders on proposed solutions and Supply Chain/Operations best practices.
- Collaborative Team Player: Proven ability to thrive within cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams and client environments.
- Formal Qualifications: A formal SCM qualification or equivalent practical experience is highly desirable.
