Full Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility, with potential requirement to travel to the alternative site (Glenrothes) when needed. This role will be working day shift hours (37hrs per week) - Mon - Wed 07:30 - 17:18 & Thurs 07:30 - 17:06. We are able to offer a position where you will get full training to be able to be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills. Interviews and training will be conducted at our Glenrothes site with with all successful candidates receiving compensation for travel during the 5 week training duration. You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS clearance. Responsibilities:

  • Soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
  • Mechanical and wiring assembly
  • Kit preparation
  • Bonding and coating.
  • Testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment

    Previous experience in a similar environment / role
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Basic PC skills
  • Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)
  • Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Organisational skills
