Join Our Team as a Community Research Interviewer!

What You'll Do

Step into the heart of your community and make a real difference! As a Community Research Interviewer, you'll visit people in their homes to conduct vital research interviews on essential topics like health, housing, and transport. Using a tablet or laptop, you'll guide conversations that capture the authentic experiences of daily life in Britain.

This isn't your typical desk job. You'll be out and about, knocking on doors and engaging with the community. While some people may not be expecting you, and others may decline, that's all part of the journey. But when someone opens up and shares their story, you'll know you've played a crucial role in creating change that improves lives.

What You'll Earn

  • Enjoy a competitive pay structure that rewards your efforts: £20-£30 per interview (typically)

  • Admin fees and holiday pay (12.1%)

  • Travel time at £4.68/hour for your commute to the work area

  • Mileage reimbursement at 36p per mile (up to 10,000 miles)

  • £250 bonus after your launch, with additional bonuses at two and four months

  • Average hourly rate: £15.12 (including holiday pay), with experienced interviewers earning even more!

What You'll Need

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car

  • Class 1 Business insurance

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Willingness to complete a DBS check

  • Reliable home broadband

  • Laptop or tablet with a camera

  • Comfortable using basic technology

  • At least 18 hours available per week

  • Flexibility for weekdays, evenings, and weekends

  • Strong verbal and written English skills

Personal Qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Friendly and professional demeanor

  • Resilient and confident attitude

  • Self-motivated and independent

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

Who This Role Suits

This position is perfect for individuals with experience in retail, hospitality, administration, driving, sales, or any customer-facing role. No prior research experience is necessary! We're looking for reliable people who enjoy helping others and seek flexible, part-time hours that fit around other commitments.

Our Quick and Straightforward Process

  1. Apply online

  2. Complete a one-way video interview (via Willo - do it anytime, anywhere)

  3. Participate in a final interview (includes a short role play)

  4. Receive an offer

  5. Undergo background checks (via Zinc)

  6. Start your exciting new role!

If you need adjustments during the process, we're here to help!
