Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanic to be responsible for the service, repair and maintenance of Aberdeenshire Council and other parties vehicles, plant and equipment

There is a responsibility for the post holder to work toward continuous improvement of the post for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

4 day week with rotated day off
07:00-16.45
On call rota 1 week on 4 weeks off

It would be advantageous if you had the following:

MOT tester class 4 and 7
Class C (HGV) D (minibus) licence
HGV maintenance experience or willing to be further trained

Expected date of interview Monday 30th November 2026.
