Full Job Description

  • Maintain production equipment and maximise availability through a combination of reactive, proactive, preventative and predictive maintenance methods while working to the highest health & safety standards.
  • Ensuring records are up to date in CMMS.

    Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience carrying out a similar role in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of maintaining pumps, fans, gearboxes, bearings, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics and plant services.
  • Experience of safe systems of work and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a team.
  • Adaptable and flexible to provide onsite support outside of normal working hours when required., HNC in mechanical engineering desirable.
  • Experience of a Computerised Maintenance Management System desirable.
  • Willingness to develop.
    • Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a valid work permit, if required.

    This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday days with a requirement to work longer shifts as required which includes 12-hour day shifts, night shifts and weekend working., This role comes with a competitive remuneration package from £39,000, depending on skills and experience, including optional company pension, health, dental and vision cover.
