Experteer Overview In this role you will service, maintain, repair and fault-find diesel generators and related equipment in our Lomondgate depot, with scope for basic installation and commissioning. You'll support fleet reliability and upgrades while working across electrical systems and control modules. You'll join a proactive team delivering dependable power and climate control solutions for diverse customers. This is a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to customer uptime. Pay / Benefits

  • Fault finding, repairs and load testing on diesel generators (20-2000kVA), including major engine overhauls Assess equipment on return from hire and implement upgrades/modifications to maintain fleet quality Work across AC/DC electrical systems, supporting diagnostics, ECM programming, and control module configuration Tasks Time served apprentice or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in engineering/mechanical subject Experience servicing/repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery) Good organisational and communication skills Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards Key requirements High competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package Generous pension plan Annual bonus opportunities Life Assurance 30 days annual leave + 3 public holidays
