Full Job Description
To enhance our current mental health provision, we are looking to appoint an RMN to deliver high-quality mental health assessments and care for patients presenting with mild to moderate mental health needs within a Primary Care setting. As this is a newly established role within our practice, the successful candidate will bring strong skills in risk assessment, the development and review of treatment plans, and the knowledge to refer patients to Secondary Care services when clinically appropriate. They will also work collaboratively with the wider GP team and seek support where required. About Us We are a paper-light practice using EMIS and Docman, and we actively embrace new technologies to enhance both patient care and staff experience. As an undergraduate and GP training practice, we host a vibrant postgraduate educational programme featuring visiting specialist consultants. Our Practice Management Team works hard to minimise administrative burden, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care. You will be supported by a strong multidisciplinary team including:
- 2 Practice Pharmacists
- 2 ANPs
- 1 ACP
- 5 Practice Nurses delivering Chronic Disease Management and Minor Illness clinics
- Additional Treatment Room nursing and HCSW support via CTAC
