Stirling Council is excited to be expanding the bus services we operate and launching a brand-new bus service as part of a 2-year pilot project. This new service will connect the Eastern Villages to Stirling, improving links for local communities—and we’re looking for reliable, customer-focused drivers to help make it a success.

This is your chance to play a key role in shaping a brand-new route and provide a vital service that people depend on every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate Council vehicles on local bus routes ensuring punctual, reliable journeys.
  • Providing a friendly and professional service to passengers
  • Handle cash transactions.
  • Maintaining high standards of safety and customer care
  • Assist passengers when needed, making journeys accessible and comfortable.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of Category D1 licence (PCV experience desirable).
  • Excellent communication and basic numeric skills.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out physical duties.
  • A friendly, helpful attitude and commitment to safety.

Desirable Criteria

  • MiDAS training and experience with mobility aids.
  • First Aid qualification.
  • Previous experience in accessible transport.
