Full Job Description
If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this career. Why not join one of our many teams of cleaners in Schools in the Kirkcaldy area., No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.

1 x 20 hours per week based at Windmill Community Campus, working Monday - Friday 4 hours per day between 3.00pm to 8.00pm, 40-weeks, permanent
1 x 20 hours per week based at Kirkcaldy High School, working Monday - Friday 4 hours per day between 3.00pm to 8.00pm, 40-weeks, permanent
You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
Pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period)
Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland)
