Salary: £124673.97
Hours: 35
Contract Duration: Temporary until 31/08/2027
Grade: National Living Wage
Role Purpose
The post is based within the Duns Social Work Office. Business Support provide support to the Social Work staff within the Duns & Kelso Social Work offices and other Social Work staff groups as/when required.
As a Modern Apprentice within the Duns Social Work Office, your duties will include:
• Telephone Answering
• Letter typing and distribution
• Minute taking and distribution
• Use of SBC applications such as Mosaic, Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages
• Processing Police Concern Forms
• Scanning and filing
• Being first point of telephone/email contact to the public and Professionals
• Monitoring of Team mailboxes
• Completing Mosaic Incoming Work
Essential
In accordance with Scottish Borders Councils priorities, you will need to be aged 16-24 (at the point of starting the Apprenticeship) to qualify for this position.
