What’s the role?

As part of the Workforce Systems Admin team, you will learn how to maintain and update a largescale system as well as provide technical support to a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll learn about System Security, Data Protection/GDPR, Testing, HR & Payroll processes & procedures and how to analyse & trouble shoot system issues.

To succeed in this role, you will enjoy problem solving, be inquisitive and have a passion for understanding how systems can help us achieve the goals of the organisation. 

What do I need?

We do look for you to have a desire to learn and develop your own digital skills, as well as be enthusiastic, organised and methodically in your approach to using software systems. You’ll need 4 National 5 qualifications at a band A-C, including English and Maths and ideally have an IT/Business related subject too. 

We’re also looking for Apprentices who can help us deliver our exciting ambition and plans for North Lanarkshire. During the selection process we’ll look for you to demonstrate the key strengths we know you’ll need to be successful; ambition, determination, adaptability, personality, ownership, be pro-active and show willingness to learn.

In accordance with Government Guidelines, you’ll need to be aged 16-24 (at the point of starting the apprenticeship) or if you are disabled or care experienced, you’ll need to be aged between 16-29 (at the point of starting the apprenticeship).

This post is temporary until 22/08/2025.

Pay Information

SVQ Level 3/4– 16-17 year - £6.40 per hour

SVQ Level 3/4 – 18 -20 years - £8.60 per hour

SVQ Level 3/4– 21+ years - £11.44 per hour
