MRI Radiographer

As an MRI Radiographer at Spire Edinburgh Murrayfield Hospital, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to capture high-quality images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and bones. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Your duties will include preparing patients for MRI scans, positioning them correctly on the scanner bed, and explaining the procedure to alleviate any concerns. You will monitor patients during scans and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in diagnostic radiography and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Previous experience working as an MRI Radiographer is essential, as well as a sound knowledge of MRI scanning techniques and procedures.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to reassure and support patients during their scans. Attention to detail and a strong focus on patient care are crucial in this role.
