Full Job Description
- Operate fixed and mobile plant includingloading shoveland dump trucks
- Carry outweighbridge duties
- Support daily and weekly production targets
- Ensure plantoperatessafely, efficiently andremainsavailable
- Perform routine plant inspections and report or act on defects
- Assistwith basic plant maintenance
- Maintainhigh standardsofhealth, safety, environmental and quality compliance
- Keep site housekeeping to a high standard
- Communicate issues clearly to the Supervisor and wider team
We'relooking for a motivated individual with experience in an industrial, factory or similar operational environment, who takes pride in their work and communicates effectively with others.You'llbe keen to learn, adaptable in your approach, and motivated to develop both operational and supervisory skills. Experience within a quarry or asphalt plant would bebeneficial butisn'tessential -we'recommitted to supporting and training the right person. To succeed in this role we would expect a candidate to evidence: - Knowledge of Plant
- Shovel License - desirable
- Good timekeeping - flexible as to the Units requirements
- Good communicationskills - bringing problems to the attention of Line Management
- Previousexperience in mobile Plant operations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IT Literate
