Full Job Description

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

Looking to apply for your first Registered Midwifery post....? You have come to the right place!

NHS Tayside is delighted to welcome applications from either Final Year Midwifery Students who are looking forward to receiving their Midwifery Registration later in 2024, or Newly Qualified Midwives looking for their first registered post.

These are rotational posts across NHS Tayside. We are working towards the implementation of a full continuity model, where midwives follow women through their own individual journey and preferred place of birth this could be in a home setting, Community Midwifery Unit or Labour Suite.

Applications will be subject to a stringent matching process by Line Managers. The decision making will consider your learning, skills, experience, and the values that you have described within your assessment form. Once the matching process is complete, you will be contacted to advise and discuss your job offer.
