Full Job Description
Responsible for the development of new liquid products from initial concept to plant approval to enable the business to innovate market leading products to drive the business forward. Work with our front-line brewing team to provide brewing technical support as required, to help drive and sustain our culture of continuous improvement., + Manage Recipe Development and implementation ensuring key criteria are met including sku and production setup.
+ Manage the continuous improvement of recipe development on site ensuring a proactive approach to meeting customer expectations and driving cost optimisation.
+ Working with cross functional teams within the business to ensure products can be manufactured efficiently and are fully compliant.
+ Supporting customer queries in relation to recipe and nutrition, including management of customer portals..
+ Ensuring the NPD process meets customer and accreditation requirements
+ Providing Technical support for liquid queries/projects on site
+ Preparation of reports following trials and analysis of results
+ Support R&D Program for the site
+ Recording of non-conformances, identifying root cause, and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions
+ Undertake and manage Quality and Technical projects as required.
+ Production and dispatch of high quality samples as required for customers tenders and internal NPD projects.
+ Maintain the recipes up to date in the systems
+ Recognised Brewing Qualification (ideally degree level or above).
+ A willingness to progress through the Master Brewer Qualification (this will be supported financially by Tennents).
+ Ideally minimum of 2 years' experience in Brewing/ drinks/ pharmaceutical environment
+ Data collation and Report writing
+ Demonstrable experience of delivering on improvement projects
+ Demonstrated ability to direct and influence people
+ Excellent communication skills both oral and written and the ability to work in cross functional teams and departments.
+ Strong planning and organizational ability with excellent attention to detail
+ Problem solving and decision-making skills
+ Ability to work to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment with a logical and investigative mindset
+ Working knowledge of HACCP and Quality systems.
+ Computer literate with knowledge of excel, word, PowerPoint or other QMS package.
+ Understanding of Customer Service
